The Marquise de Pompadour
Louis XV commissioned his jewellers to create a diamond shape that best represented the lips of his lover, Marquise de Pompadour. This diamond cut is now known as the Marquise shape. Madame de Pompadour was also known as a purveyor of the arts as well as one of the first activists for women’s rights.
The Marquise de Pompadour ring features 3 carats of perfectly matched natural diamonds nestled in the Browns Signature Chorus Band. Set in 18ct gold.
