The Browns Bear

For over 100 years, the beloved teddy bear has brought joy and comfort to children all around the world. In fact, we regard teddy bears to be the most enduring and endearing symbols of childhood. Who could possibly resist a toasty bear hug? They bring out the child in us all.

Around 20 years ago, we realised that a very important member of the family was being left out of the fun. We were sending home beautifully prepared Browns goodie bags for Mum (or Dad) — but nothing for the little ones! And so, the very first Browns teddy bear was born. Since then, we’ve had the joy of delighting our clients’ children year after year, introducing a new teddy bear annually to celebrate life’s most special moments.

Our favourite bear ever is the lovable Winnie-the Pooh. He may be sweet and childlike, but he possesses a wisdom that teaches us life’s most valuable lesson, the value of great relationships. Something we’re privileged to celebrate with our clients every single day. In the end, Pooh is simply a bear who loves honey and his friends – what could make anyone happier than that?

Our teddy bears have pawed their way into hearts across the world. So much so that many of our clients have created a tradition of collecting a Browns bear each year to pass down to their children. It means the world to us that a piece of our heritage has become a cherished part of yours.
